🚨Changes to Friday Session Access – 2026 Brisbane Snr Mets!
On Friday 6 March, the GPS Swimming event will be held at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre, prior to the 2026 Brisbane Senior Metropolitan Championships.
Please note that traffic flow and access arrangements will be impacted for the Friday evening session only. We ask that you carefully review the parking and entry details below.
PRECINCT ACCESS FROM 3:30PM
-Vehicle access is via Tilly Road (refer to map)
-Please do not use the Old Cleveland Road entry prior to 7pm as buses departing from car park 3 will significantly impact traffic flow
-A dedicated athlete drop off point will be available on Chandler Road (refer to map)
-Parking is available in Car Park 2 or Ring Road only (refer to map)
-Car Park 3 will be closed for the duration of the Friday evening session
ATHLETE & COACH ACCESS FROM 4PM – 5PM
-Pool deck access is via the alternative entry near Aquatic Centre Reception only
-Event staff will be onsite to assist with directions
-Grandstand access (Eastern side only) will not be available until 5pm
ACCESS AFTER 5PM
-Entry via the Eastern Grandstand only
-Spectators require a valid ticket
